FALL DOWN SEVEN TIMES, GET UP EIGHT.

Have you ever read books that just stick with you forever? So much so, that it leads to a new tattoo..

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho did exactly that for me. It resonated in such a powerful way. The effect incredible books have when it really hits home…

“People are afraid to pursue their most important dreams, because they feel that they don’t deserve them, or that they’ll be unable to achieve them.

When you want something bad enough, the universe conspires to achieve it. We are all adventurers looking for treasure. What our heart sings, and what our heart wants, is where our treasure resides”

After re-reading this book again, the idea of a tattoo came naturally to me and I just knew that I was going to get this specific quote…

The universal language is “What is it? What is our ‘personal legends’ in the world? what makes your story unique?

To put it simply, ‘MAKTUB’ – meaning, it is written. In life we are constantly presented with ‘signs’, that will eventually lead to our dream, our fulfilment, our destiny.

To die tomorrow was no worse than dying on any other day, so we must constantly seek to be present

“I don’t live in either my past or my future. I’m interested only in the present. If you can concentrate always on the present, you’ll be a happy man. Life will be a party for you, a grand festival, because life is the moment we’re living now.”
